Disney and the Nazis: The Unauthorized Book Disney Doesn't Want You to Read: Disney in WWI

Disney in WWI To understand WWII you have to first look at WWI. Many historians consider WWI to be merely the precursor to WIII or the two wars to be one war with a temporary cease fire. Walt Disney would take part in the war to end all wars and it would have a huge impact on him for the rest of his life. At a young age Walt Disney was patriotic. While in high school Walt would draw patriotic cartoons for his high school newspaper. It is not surprising then that would want to join the war effort. It may seem odd in modern times that people were so eager to go to war but we have changed as a society a great deal since then. The history of man is often changed by technology and in modern times the technological changes happen so rapidly that studies show we are not actually able to keep up but are behind what technology can do. This has changed us a great deal. Throughout history however war has been glorified and was a means to gain wealth and power. This idolized view of war was stil

Introduction Nazis will forever be associated with evil. Disney however is often associated with saccharin family friendly entertainment. The two seem to be diametrically opposed to one another. Yet a quick search online for Disney and Nazi comes up with a wide range of sites with varying topics. There are many claims made about Disney and the man and the companies connection to the Nazis. But what is truth and what is fiction. Is there any truth to these claims? Was Disney a Nazi-sympathizer? Was Disney an Anti-Semite? You are most likely reading this for one of two reasons. The first is hope you that Disney really was pro Nazi. You want to hear obscene gossip. You want Disney to have a dark past. Then there are those that are tired of hearing from the rumormongers. They want to put an end to the anti-Disney claims once and for all. Both may be afraid that what they will find in this book will do the opposite of what they want. This book does not pick sides. It will look at reality

A History of All Atari Made Atari 2600 Games Introduction

Introduction The Atari 2600 was one of the most popular consoles of the second generation of home consoles. For a time Atari was the king of the video game industry. At one time Atari had been the fastest growing company. The Atari 2600 was the first console system for many people. This book covers all the games that were made by the Atari company itself for the 2600. The Atari 2600 was released in 1977. At first, Atari was the only company to make games but over time more and more firms would come in and make games for the system. This is part of what lead to the Video Game Crash of 83. The Video Game Crash nearly destroyed both the arcade and home consoles. The Atari 2600 would ride out the storm and continue until 1992 when the system was finally discontinued. It would be one of the longest lasting consoles. It would last long enough to not only see the third generations of home consoles but the fourth generations as well. You may see some patterns emerge as you read about each ga

Camp Full Moon Chapter 2

Chapter 2 Robert boarded the bus, feeling a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation. He looked around and saw a sea of unfamiliar faces. Most of the kids seemed to know each other, chatting and laughing as they found their seats. Robert found an empty seat by the window and sat down, feeling a bit lonely and out of place. As the bus pulled out of the station, Robert looked out the window, watching as the buildings and houses of the town slowly gave way to forests and fields. The scenery was beautiful, but Robert couldn't help feeling a little homesick. He wondered if his family and dog were doing okay without him. Suddenly, a voice interrupted his thoughts. "Hey there! Mind if I sit here?" Robert turned and saw a boy with a friendly face and curly brown hair. "Uh, sure," he said, scooting over to make room. "I'm Hunter," the boy said, extending his hand. "I'm Robert," Robert replied, shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you, R

Camp Full Moon Chapter 1

Chapter 1 Robert couldn't believe that summer camp had finally arrived. He had been looking forward to this day for months, counting down the days on his calendar, dreaming of the adventures he would have and the friends he would make. Now, as he stood in his bedroom surrounded by his bags, he felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. What if he didn't make any friends? What if he got lost in the woods? What if something terrible happened? But Robert pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. He had to make sure he had everything he needed for camp. He checked and double-checked his list, making sure he had his sleeping bag, his flashlight, his water bottle, and his lucky rock. He packed his favorite books and comics, his Frisbee, and his baseball glove. He even packed a small photo of his family and his dog, Sparky, to remind him of home. As he zipped up his last bag, Robert heard the sound of his parents and sister downstairs. He took a deep breath and
